Configuration of HUAWEI T1 ETS2288 set for Internet(PDSN):

go to menu/settings/common/Data Services/Data Rate
from the help of up/down key set Data Rate as 2030400.

Modem Setup:
It requirs a USB to DB9 DATA cord and HUAWEI MODEM Driver CD.
User can install Huawei Wireless Modem by the following means.
1)Run Setup.exe in directory "Setup" to install the Modem's driver. System prompts users to insert USB data wire and install the Modem. We recommend users to adopt this method.
2)Open Control panel/phone and Modem option/Modems/add modem/(Click don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list.)/Have disk/(browse C://HUAWEI/MODEM/WIN2kXp/Select ".inf" and click Open and then OK) .Inf files needed on win98/Me:
Win98\HuaWeiMdm.inf HUAWEI WIRELESS MODEM(153.6K) .Inf files needed on Win2000/XP:
winXP\HuaWeiMdm.inf HUAWEI WIRELESS MODEM(153.6K)

How to access internet from PDSS server?
Connection Setup:
go to Control panel/Network and Dial-up connection/Make new connection/Dial-up to Private networkSelect Modem/Enter Phone number as #777/for all Users and then ok.
User name and Password is given by BSNL authorities.Dialing no is #777

Configuration of LG Model: LSP-340 E set for Internet(PDSN):

FWT Set settings:
Go to MENU/2.ADDITIONAL/4.SIO Baud Rate
And Set DATA BAUDRATE AS 19,200

Modem Installation:
Go to Control panel/phone and Modem option/Modems/add modem/(Click don't detect my modem; I will select it from a list.)/ (Standard Modem Types)/Standard 19200 bps Modem/select port then finish modem installation.
Important Note: from Control panel/phone and Modem option/Modems, select Standard 19200 bps Modem and go to properties , in advanced Tab put "at+crm=1".

1. Double-Click "LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_AIS_Ver_4.7.exe" to install the new version of the drivers. 2. Recommended not to plug in the device untill the drivers kit is installed. 3. Close all the applications if required, reboot the system.
Windows2K/XP:
1. Double-click "LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_AIS_Ver_4.7.exe" to install the new version of the drivers. 2. Recommended not to plug in the device untill the drivers kit is installed.
Important Note: from Control panel/phone and Modem option/Modems, select LGE CDMA USB Modem and go to properties, in advanced Tab put "at+crm=1".

1. Without connecting the instrument to PC , Install the USB Driver - Run the PL-2303

Driver Installer.exe file .

2. Connect the instrument to PC using Data Cable (Instrument end – 9-Pin D-type Connector

& PC end – USB Port).

3. Now Install the Modem Driver using Modem Driver_003.exe file. After successful

installation,CBP4Faxmdmdrv.inf file will be installed.

4. Modem settings in PC –

Settings - Control Pannel – Phone & Modem options – Modems – Select Modem (VIA

CBP4.0 modem) - Properties –

General – Max.Port Speed = 115200 .

Advanced - at+crm=1;+cmux=1;+cps=33;+cta=0.

5. Setting / Programming in IFWT (instrument) –

Settings – 4 – 1X Data fax – 1 – Data in always mode.

Port Speed – 2 – 115200.

6. Detecting Modem / Query Modem Procedure -

Settings - Control Pannel – Phone & Modem options – Modems – Select Modem (VIA

CBP4.0 modem) - Properties – Diagnostics – Query Modem.

7. If modem is detected successfully (Response to All parameters should be OK after Query

Modem) , then create dial-up connection as follows -

For Windows 2000 –

Settings - Control Pannel – Network & Dial-up Connections – Make New Connection –

Dial-up to the Private Network – Phone Number = > #777 ( Disable ‘Use Dialling rules’)
- For all users – Name of Dial-up Connection

General – Max.Port Speed = 115200 .

Advanced - at+crm=1.

5. Setting / Programming in IFWT (instrument) –

Press MENU – 0 – 4 – 1 – Select 2.Data – Select USB CDC – Press Store

Press MENU – 0 – 4 – 2 – DS BAUD – 115200 – Press Store

6. Detecting Modem / Query Modem Procedure -

CBP4.0 modem) - Properties – Diagnostics – Query Modem.

1. Connect the instrument to PC using Data Cable (Instrument end – 9-Pin D-type Connector

& PC end – 9-Pin D-type Connector).

2. Modem settings in PC –

Settings - Control Pannel – Phone & Modem options – Modems – Select Modem (Standard

33600 bps modem) - Properties –

General – Max.Port Speed = 115200 .

Advanced - at+fclass=0;at+crm=2;at$qcmdr=3.

4. Setting / Programming in IFWT (instrument) –

Enable DATA Mode in IFWT.

5. Detecting Modem / Query Modem Procedure -

Settings - Control Pannel – Phone & Modem options – Modems – Select Modem (LGE

CDMA USB Modem) - Properties – Diagnostics – Query Modem.

6. If modem is detected successfully (Response to All parameters should be OK after Query

Modem) , then create dial-up connection as follows -

For Windows 2000 –

Settings - Control Pannel – Network & Dial-up Connections – Make New Connection –

Dial-up to the Private Network – Phone Number = > #777 ( Disable ‘Use Dialling rules’)

- For all users – Name of Dial-up Connection –

NIC Card Setting

Procedure to Operate the Huawei Mobile NIC :

Work at SSA :-

A. The Huawei NIC card may be programmed by the SSA before handing over to the subscriber. To programme the card the Programming Tool is supplied in CD.

B. Execution of Programming tool:-
1)The HostEN30 file is to be executed.
2)On the left scroll bar in SysConfig tool –
a. the serial port no to be assigned (which can be verified from device manager –serial port com where Huawei Mobile Connect is connected) &
b. speed as 230400.
3)In the Serv Mtce Tool on left scroll the following is to assigned:-
SPC Code-000000,
Channel-42 or 83,
SID-14496,
NID-SDCA Code(0376) &
MSIN-10-digit no.(3762911999) &
then WRITE.
C. The Computer is to be restarted .
D. If the programming is correct then signal will be displayed at the Huawei Mobile Connect Tool.
Subscriber activity:-
1. Subscriber is required to insert the NIC card at the designated slot on the laptop.
2. Install the Huawei Mobile Connect Tool software in the Laptop from the supplied CD (available in the NIC kit).
3. The Tool Huawei will be available at the desktop.
4. To access WLL services just click the Huawei icon.
5. The tool can be utilized to make/receive calls(ear-piece is supplied with kit), send/receive SMS & Net browsing.
