Procedure for Configuration of High-Speed Internet Access
using CDMA EV-DO Data Card (ZTE Make).
1. Install the ZTEPSTv1.03.04 Software on PC for configuration of CDMA EV-DO Data Card (ZTE Make).This can be used as CDMA 2000 1x as well as 1x EVDO both.
2. Insert the CDMA EV-DO Data Card (ZTE Make) which is to be configured in USB Slot
of the PC & Also insert the CD provided with Data Card. Run the Setup.exe file from CD
so that the ZTE EV-DO Data card USB Setup is installed & an icon titled “ZTE EV-DO”
will appear on desktop.
3. Also install QPST Software for RL editor. Reset the PC after Installation . Run RL editor from programs in start menu and select IS-683A+1xEV and then check Preffered Only, default roaming Indicator 0 Preferred Roaming List ID 0. Then edit Acquisition Record Table & System record table as-

Now save this file , and in ZTEPST software locate the PRL file and then select for card programming as below given.
Note: For 1x only Index 0 i.e. CDMA ony & IS-2000 System should be written for EVDO both.
4. Double click on this icon – a Configuration window titled “ZTE _PST V1.03.04” will
appear on screen .
Select appropriate
& ensure that COM port shows the status as “Connected”(Highlighted in Green colour) &
“DB Success” tab at the bottom is highlighted in Green colour.
When COM port status is displayed as “Connected”, click on the “Read from Phone” tab
at the bottom left of the window enter Service Programming Code 000000 and click OK.

5. Click on the “Write to Phone” tab at the bottom left of the window.The software will
probe about updating the database record ,click ‘Yes’.The configuration of Data Card
using the ZTEPSTv1.03.04 Software is complete.
11. Now Double-click on the “ZTE EV-DO” icon on desktop – an interface window will
appear on screen. Select Setting - Network tab & Enter the following information –
Phone - #777. Username & Password as provided.
Click on the ‘Apply’ tab to effect the changes. The configuration is complete. Click on
the “Connect/Disconnect” tab on upper left hand side so as to be able to use the High-
speed internet service using CDMA EV-DO Data card.(Kindly reset the PC if needed
after completion of configuration.)
